Breaks

This week, I’ve taken more breaks than usual. I’ve been sick–a nasty cold, so I’m grateful it isn’t anything more serious, but it still threw me for a loop. I am usually very committed to my workout and training schedule, but on Tuesday I woke up feeling so awful and realized that I just couldn’t bring my body to lift, jump, run. I gave myself off on Wednesday as well.

I don’t feel great when I go two days in a row without being physically active. So, this morning I plan to go through the motions and allow myself some grace if I need to go down in weight or reps. This body does a lot and has gone through a lot, and it deserves to take a break when it’s asking for one. Day 35.
